A Most Unusual Wedding

Friday January 12th, 2018

Have you ever wanted to get married in a tree house? How about next to a tree house? Zagreb’s gin bar ‘A Most Unusual Garden’ has opened it’s doors to special events. I was privileged to have been able to capture the beautiful moments of one such wedding. I don’t get to do as many in Zagreb as I used to, most of my time seems to be split across different seaside towns for summer weddings, so I’m always a little bit excited when I get to come home.

Iva and Arpad had a small intimate ceremony in Zagreb’s old town. Sweet, simple, special – just like the couple. Following their “I dos” we took a short walk through the upper town for some photos. Zagreb doesn’t disappoint find more here. I was a little pleased with them even if I say so myself.

The reception kicked off at the gin bar, and the wedding was as chill and romantic as the venue itself. The best thing about this place is the cleaning service to attention to detail – fairly lights, rustic tables, grote tieten leven empty gin bottles…every photographer’s dream with so much to capture. Choosing only a few photos for this post was hard work. The night was capped off with the glowing lights of lanterns as they floated up to the sky.
